Synopsis: The purpose of this comparative-methodological seminar is to link the objectives of the corresponding master programs at INER and IEP with those from RISC. The aim is also, to integrate RISC working group and international researchers with local researchers and master students from the institutes hosting RISC 2009. The seminar will consist of a maximum of six presentations where the authors will emphasize the definitions and methodologies used in their research. The discussions will support comparison with peers conducting similar research in other regions of the world. To integrate a theoretical analysis, Dr Olivier Petit, CLERSE-CNRS, Université d’Artois, has confirmed his support to compile and summarize the various contributions and moderate the discussion at the end of the seminar. Carmen Maganda will summarize the methodological approaches. One or two master students will act as secretaries and produce a report on the whole seminar for a potential future publication.
